I found the facilities quite basic. I reported faulty haridryer and it still was not repaired by the time I booked out. I had to ask for fresh towels. I used them twice but on the third day I left wet towels on floor only to find that they had been hung back up on rails. Meals were very good and serving staff were excellent very welcoming and friendly.
No, I found it adequate.
The staff were friendly but not in your face! Evening meals were good and so was breakfast. Plenty of coffee in the morning unlike some places we stayed. Would go back. Not cheap cheap but worth the price - £70 a night. Locals friendly - allways a bonus!
Recption guy was a bit dull! but did his job! seemed bored - early season!
Well placed for touring Skye and the surrounding location
The position of the hotel is well located and some of the staff were friendly.
After parking in the car park at the rear of the building we walked past literary hundreds of cigarette butts and peeling exterier paint as we made our way to the main entrance. Room 27 was the room we were allocated. It was dark and gloomy and appeared not to have been decorated for 15 - 20 years, with very basic, dated furniture. We had to turn the quilt over as the cover was marked, and the mattress was very uneven to see and to lay down on due obviously to age and wear. We had booked two nights but only stayed the one. Although the pictures of the rooms look good on the website ours was dreadful and in no way resembled them.
Was ok as a place to sleep, bathroom not the cleanest in the world and there was a big damp patch on the floor of the bedroom!
Decor is not the best in need of a gd lick of paint and some wallPaper
only stopped overnight so i was limited due to time.
i thought it was expensive compared to other like hotels in the region.
Big car park
The main entrance from the car park is on a level with the second floor rooms. These small bedrooms were a two minute walk down stairs, through smelly corridors, disused function rooms and past the kitchens to reach the front hall. At least the hotel had the sense to put up a sign in the carpark to tell you to leave your luggage in the car before checking-in.
Facilites of the hotel were adequate
My room was shabby, it felt as if it had not been used for some time, not acceptable even for a single traveller.
The location was suitable for touring Isle of Skye.
Twin Room very small, did not have room for suitcases. Hotel somewhat scattered with long narrow corridors. It was poor value for the rate charged.
neat, tidy, clean, helpful staff, excellent breakfast
The hotel is one of your typical shoddy, old fashioned places. However Kyle is dead. It might have been lively here before the Skye Bridge but it is lifeless. I'd drive further on and stay in Portree. No wifi.
The hotel is located in the middle of the little town and close to the railway station, which is great.
The breakfast was not so nice, and room was rather shabby-looking, whereas the price was twice the amount of a b&B.
Resturant food was good
Excellent location in town centre, very friendly and helpful staff, an ideal touring base for a very beautiful part of Scotland.
